How to Install Fermata Auto on Android Auto

Takes about 10 minutes. No root required.

Download the latest Fermata Auto APK from the download page (arm64 for most phones).
Install the APK on your Android phone and allow installation from your browser or file manager if prompted.
Open Android Auto settings on the phone, scroll to Version and tap it about 10 times to enable Developer mode.
Open the three-dot menu, choose Developer settings and enable Unknown sources.
Open Fermata on the phone once and grant storage/media permissions, then add your music or video folders.
Connect the phone to your car (USB or wireless Android Auto) and look for Fermata in the app launcher or media apps.
If it does not appear, restart Android Auto and update to the latest Fermata release.

Menu names can vary between Android Auto versions. Only use video while parked.
